The Smart Bitch Book: ARC Giveaway!

Bitch Book It’s January 5th, the shopping is done, the gifts are put away, and maybe you’re wearing that sweater someone gave you for the holidays. We’re all back at work, it’s probably cold, unless you’re in the southern hemisphere, and it’s a bit of a bummer.

Not anymore! Want to win an ARC copy of The Smart Bitch Book, also known as Beyond Heaving Bosoms: The Smart Bitches’ Guide to Romance Novels? Sure, why not! I’ve got 10 ARCs sitting in my room with me (I gaze upon them more frequently than is necessary, and I admit it) and I’d like to share them with you. International shipping is fine, because it’s all about sharing the lurrrrrrrve™.

Here’s the deal: leave a comment here, and I’ll pick 10 at random. If you win a copy, however, you agree to (a) read it, and (b) email me your review, reaction, or general impression. Squeeing is optional and not at all required. If you hate it, I wanna hear about it. ARC winner reviews will be posted as Guest Bitch Reviews in the soon-to-be-launched Smart Bich Book section of this here hot pink wonder palace.

Caveat blah blah: it’s an ARC. I know for a fact that Candy and I made big ass changes, because, well, we made big ass changes. Some of the illustrations are different, there’s additional material we inserted (sorry about that, production department!) and errors were spanked mightily. So keep that in mind – this is not the finished product.

However! It is, in our opinion, really freaking cool. So if you want one, you know what to do. Leave your comment, and I’ll pick winners in 24 hours. Ready, set, go.

  8. Katherine says:

I’ve always had a hankering to be a kind of copy editor…though I was always afraid that they’d give me a genre that I hate. I’d love to give this a go – to quote John Cleese as the Pope speaking to Eric Idle as Michaelangelo, “I may not know art, but I know what I like!”

  9. I’d love to give it a review. 🙂 And I will be honest!

  10. Wendy says:

heaving bosoms (and why is that not spelled as it is pronounced?)

Huh. How do you pronounce bosom? I’m Australian and say it how it’s spelled. Bo like the first part of bog, Som like the sound of song but with more of an m…

Congratulations on the books, by the way.

What is on my mind today?

Ronald Regan: Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction.

Voltaire : I do not agree with what you have to say, but I’ll defend to the death your right to say it.

Baruch Spinoza: Peace is not an absence of war, it is a virtue, a state of mind, a disposition for benevolence, confidence, justice.

  26. Elyssa says:

  27. elianara says:

    Please, send me an ARC!

  28. Why does the guy on the cover look like Adrian Pasdar? Not that I’m complaining.

And in an attempt to get some converstation going, why do Iranians get no love in sheikh romances? I’m no expert but the options for place of origin seem to be either a) Egypt/Maghreb, b) Peninsula, or c) Agrabah, by which I mean FakeArabistan, not specifically Faux Iraq, which I think Agrabah is meant to be.

Anyway: why no love for the Iranian stereotypes?

  29. Ooh! Me me me me me meee!
