Here’s a book trailer that’ll make you giggle: Simone Elkeles hired some fine, fine actors to do a rap video book trailer for her book Perfect Chemistry. An opposites-attract novel about a rich girl and a boy from the barrio who end up as chemistry lab partners, the book trailer is both irritatingly catchy and very, very well done.
Elkeles says, “It’s actually a parody of my book, which is what makes it funny and hopefully viral,” and there’s a cut and uncut (?!!) version to choose from.
I liked! The uncut version *really* made me giggle.
Is this a YA book?
*lol* That was hilarious. I wouldn’t mind reading the book either. Book trailers are definitely going to be a wave of the future in viral marketing.
I caught this one! This isn’t my type of music, but I gotta admire Simone. She is a true lady with plenty of chutzpah. Some years back we were in the same RWA chapter and I can boast that we heard her work read in crit sessions before it sold.
