holy early morning

It has been a long time since I saw 4 am on the digital clock. It has not become any more fun. But I have made it to the gate and had two cups of coffee so things are caffeinated and mellow.

Question I am asking myself: which is longer – the line for Nora Roberts at the signing tonight or the line for the Dunkin Donuts right now?

From past experience, I would lay a large sum of money on the line for Nora being longer.

I’d have to vote for Teh Nora line being longer, too… especially since few would rise at 4 a.m. for Dunkin.

Count me as one of the few, though. If I had a Dunkin nearby, I’d pretty much live there. Mmmm… hazelnut coffee…

(I’d also be in Nora’s line, if I weren’t an entire continent away from SF. Sigh.)

*nods* I’d be right behind you in line, Sonya, even if I had to get up at 4 a.m. to be near the front. If you’re going to next year’s conference in D.C. you can bring the coffee, I’ll grab the donuts.  ;D

Nora. Donuts just make you sleepier.

I can imagine that donuts are quite popular first thing in the a.m., and that’s probably one of the only places open for coffee or food at that hour.  I have been one of those travelers myself!  However, my money is on Nora—wish I was gonna be in that line myself.

  6. Randi says:

what if Nora were serving Dunkin coffee to those waiting in line to see her? Possibly you could circle the globe with that line…

RWA is in DC next year??? I need to start saving now- it’s only a 6 hour drive. Wonder if they will take reservations yet?

Oh and it would be La Nora who had the longer line. Much longer.

… If they were serving donuts at a Nora Roberts book signing… Well, I’d just go to the store and buy my own donuts and some nice category romance instead. >:]

bitch bitch bitch—sweetheart, you’re gonna meet The Nora.  I have no sympathy.  Eat a chocolate eclair for me.
