Free Kenyon for Yer Kindle!

Thanks to Sandia for the heads up: Kenyon’s Seize the Night is free for the Kindle today. Click early, click often.

Now I have to try to figure out with my under-caffeinated brain how to ask Amazon to inform me which books are free, cheezy bread, free, so I can clickity click and load up the Kindle-Aid.

Sigh…. Kindle isn’t available in Canada yet, no freebees for us… Oh well, maybe soon.

  2. sistergolden says:

Sweet—I’ve been thinking of trying this author so the time is perfect! I’m one of those readers that will buy an author’s backlist if I get hooked on a book.  Thanks for the tip!

  3. Sandia says:

if you find out how to get amazon to notify of free books let me know!  sometimes they have like super kindle sales (like emily giffin’s somthing borrowed was on sale for like $3.99 for a day) – but there’s no notification – you just have to almost stumble upon it 🙁

  4. Thanks for the heads up! Got mine!

Notification would be great! I’ll look around to see a way.

  5. Sadi says:

I usually find out about the freebies when I go to the Kindle store on my Kindle and read the daily post.  Believe me, I check every day because free is GOOD!  Although, I read about today’s here first!  As for the discounts, I bet I turned down email notifications of something somewhere.  🙁

Also free right now: Patti O’Shea’s In the Midnight Hour
    http://www.amazon.com/In-the-Midnight-Hour/dp/B001B8NWI2

  7. DS says:

The Patti O’Shea book is the Tor offering this week so anyone can download it from Tor’s newsletter.  They are still offering Kage Baker’s book as well.

  8. Peggy Pennell says:

This is great promotional stuff for these authors…I’ve never read Kenyon or O’Shea, no special reason – just haven’t got around to them.  But a free book to get me hooked, that’s just smart and moved them up on my TBR list, for sure.

And I check the Kindle blog and store every day also, just for this kinda thing.

  9. Cat Marsters says:

Sherri’s done a free e-book for her newsletter subscribers before.  Great idea: rewards the loyal fans (and I’ve been to a SK signing: boy are they loyal!  There were fangs and everything…)

Spamfilter: merely32.  I am not!  I have years to go before I’m merely anything!

  10. Bonnie says:

Love this!  Thanks for the heads-up!

  11. Can’t get it in the UK either.

Out of interest, how are you rendering your blog post headers as images? I’ve not seen that done before.

🙂 Thank you for the link. There is even a “countdown to Acheron”, at the site. Very impressive graphics. Very smart marketing!!!

  15. SonomaLass says:

Thanks, Sarah Weatherwax!  Those of us who are Kindle-less thank you!!!!

  16. SonomaLass says:

Here’s another free ebook, for those interested:

    L. Shannon and Moira Reid

DS – thanks to the heads up on Tor’s e-book newsletter thing, I love sci-fi but am jobless right now, so free reads are a delight. Signed up and sat in my inbox waiting for new reading material.

  18. Malin says:

SonomaLass: Thanks! Free read? Of course I’m interested! Last I checked I was still breathing… *g*

I enjoyed In the Midnight Hour.  I just signed up with Tor and the first read (last weekend) was a paranormal romance. Way to get me hooked! 😀

Spamword: higher32. Yes, I do aim for a grade higher than 32 on my exams.

  19. entwhistle says:

Thanks for the link!  Got a Kindle last month for b’day – it has not done my budget any good, but free?  Yeah!

cost47—nope, not a cent, thank you very much.

  20. shaina says:

yeah, it’s not just for kindle, as sarah weatherwax said…case in point, i just finished it, and it was AMAZING and hot and i loved it!
    😀

  21. Sandra D says:

Apparently I’m a complete, blithering idiot because I have been getting the Tor newsletter for a couple of months now and I can’t figure out where the free books are! HELP!
