  1. Julie Leto says:

I love the Potter Puppet Pals…there are a bunch of videos by this guy.  And for some reason, Dumbledore nearly always ends up naked.

  2. rbm00 says:

The PPP have actually won an award for their Potter Puppets. They’re very cool and you should check out their other videos. The one they did live is the funniest, even if the quality is bad!

  3. Damn, Sarah. You outed me! Now *everyone* will know I watch these things.

And hey, I’d never noticed Dumbledore always ends up naked. But Julie, you did…Uh-huh. *halo*

Have a great weekend. Me, I’m going to watch Iron Man. Again. I love me some drunkard-industrialist-womanizer-asshole of a hero! And the cool, powered armor doesn’t hurt either. Oooh, shiny…

  4. Erin says:

I’ve seen these guys live! They sometimes perform with Harry and the Potters…I think I saw them at the 2006 Yule Ball in Boston…

WHICH, by the way, Harry and the Potters are performing in a free concert tomorrow (Saturday the 10th) at 7pm in the New York Public Library. You have to pick up tickets somewhere by tomorrow afternoon, but that’s all on their website.

Great. Now I’ve got “99 Death Eaters” stuck in my head…

  5. Joanna says:

Now -that- is what I call being made of awesome and win. Very cool!

  6. fiveandfour says:

I had to go and do it: I had to go and push play.  I was curious to know if it was the one my daughter has watched over.  And over.  And over.  And now I’m going to have the Severus Snape earworm driving me crazy all day.  (Though I will admit it’s v. clever.)

  7. Shannon says:

That was awsome. Made my day. And I am totally using this in class.  Such a great example of the use of repetition and speech patterns in creating a piece of music.  Sometimes I really love being a music teacher 🙂

  8. endlessdesk says:

i thought it was a comic strip???? There are videos as well??? Amazing…and sooo distracting…need to study for finals..

  9. Shiin says:

This went like wildfire through my college Hall (did I mention all the upperclassmen in my hall did a huge Harry Potter cosplay last fall for a Con?) It was made of awesome and win

  10. MamaNice says:

My just turned 5 year old has a section on my website where she does reviews of pop culture…she LOVES the puppet pals and reviewed them several months ago…her favorite part? Aside from naked Dumbledore (I guess she recognizes a fellow naturalist), she loves the bit about expired gorilla’s milk. I believe that one is in the scene titled “Potions Class.” Where Snape-a-doodle can teach you all about how to catch hot babes.

  11. SonomaLass says:

Potter Puppet Pals rock!  This is one that I hadn’t seen, so thanks for sharing.

  12. mcnappy says:

Howled like a banshee, and I am pretty indifferent to all things Potter. Definitely worth sharing.

My word is told32. Appropriate, since I’m telling everyone I know about this one.

  13. Melissa Blue says:

It’s sad at how easily amused I am.

  14. lizziebee says:

    OMG that’s hysterical.

  15. Shannon says:

My school loves Potter Puppet Pals. This huge contingent of like 70 people waited outside our local bookstore for the release of the 7th book, and about every twenty minutes someone would just start with a nice, soft “snape, snape, severus snape,” and everyone would just join in. It still works in my Latin class, too, where everyone who takes the course has no life and spends time reading HP and watching PP.

  16. orangehands says:

my roomie found PPP last year during a blackout (we all hang out in the hall while it goes on)- very funny group.

youre58: no, it just feels like it tonight, you little fucker.

  17. S. W. Vaughn says:

Yay! I love these guys. Stumbled across them accidentally some time ago, and TMTN has remained my favorite of theirs. “Wizard Angst” isn’t bad, either.

If you can handle a little Chipmunk-style noise, “TMTN Speeded Up!!!” is pretty funny too…

Hee hee. Yes, I am easily amused. 🙂

(Word ver. is number23. Wasn’t that the Jim Carrey movie?)

  18. limecello says:

I’m glad I’m not the only person who was easily amused. I wondered if it was because it’s nearly 2 am. And… I did notice that Dumbledore was naked – I mean, all the other puppets have black clothes and he’s just… there.

  19. Madd says:

What’s concerning is that he was wearing clothes to begin with and lost them at one point. Makes me wonder what he was about under that stage.

  20. host says:

Nice Potter Puppet Pals!  This is one that I hadn’t seen, Keep up the good work.
