Friday Videos: Only Hasselhoff Can Save Us

Thanks Star Opal. Few things make me giggle harder than David Hasselhoff, a light saber, and a shitload of eyeliner.

Now I feel MUCH better.

spamfoiler: nothing62—yup, nothing to say here. (Have I mentioned that this thing is eerily accurate?)

  6. mlg says:

Love your site! A small correction: I believe the correct term is guy-liner.

  7. Eunice says:

It’s from a Star Wars knock-off called Star Crash.

  8. Do you have a nice merlot to go with that cheese?

  9. Kcfla says:

    That’s cheese alright- limburger!

  10. Angelina says:

    That was simply Hofftastic!

    my verification word: most22
Yup that’s the most eye make-up I’ve ever seen in one scene.

  11. Anne Douglas says:

    Err…yeah…that was *something*tastic, for sure.

Oh. My. God. WTFBBQ. Seriously did anybody watch this ever?

  16. NkB says:

Hasselhoff must be loving YouTube at this point in his career.  Is there a 10-ten most embarrassing videos of Hasselhoff site?  Because there should be.

  17. DS says:

    Whhhhaaaa.  It’s gone.

  18. Michele says:

I think the chick had more eye makeup on than he did, but not by much.

    Good cheese.

    Thanks be to the Hoff.

  19. jenjen says:

reminds me of futuristic Clash of the Titans, only not as good.

  20. I just loved the special effects.  They were so top of the line…not!

  21. Hollyn says:

Speaking of Hofftastic, has anyone seen him in “Jeckyll & Hyde”- the musical? OMG it’s worth sitting through just to see him as Hyde. All the videos are up on youtube.

Oh and did I mention that The Hoff was the main reason the show didn’t last very long on Broadway? LOL

  22. CJ says:

While the “hoff” in Jekyll and Hyde was possibly the worst thing I’ve seen, the musical didn’t fail because of him.
It ran 4 years for over 1500. performances.

  23. I had three thoughts while watching that.

1—DAMN, who turned my speakers up so loud?

    2—What.  The.  FUCK???

    3—…

Although, upon reflection, I believe I’ve come up with one more.

4—How much do you suck if you can’t defeat a robot that is apparently rusted to near-immobility?  Wow.

  24. Hollyn says:

“It ran 4 years for over 1500. performances.”

I stand corrected. I bet his horrible acting actually helped the sales.

  25. Jean says:

Gosh, I saw that movie when it came out in the theaters.  It was on a blind date – I remember my date got sick and had to run to the restroom.  No, it wasn’t because of the movie, it was probably the spaghetti we’d had for dinner beforehand.

But I digress … besides Marjoe Gortner, this movie also starred Christopher Plummer, playing the Max von Sydow evil emperor character.  God, he had more acting talent in his little finger than the rest of the cast combined!
