You’ll never look at the Count the same way again

As Mightygodking noted: there’s only one joke to this video, but HOLY CHRIST it’s a good one.

Hang on, doesn’t what he do to the candles and what he does to himself when he’s alone count as the same thing? Wait, ‘scuse me: [bleep] as the same thing?

OH MY BLEEP!!!the tune is like what you hear at Jewish wedding receptions when they hoist the groom up in the chair. I had that vision in my head the entire video.

stick the groom in a chair and sing along!!

“sometimes i sit and beep all day”
“slowly slowly slowly getting faster faster faster it is so exciting i could bleep forever till i drop”

the C word sure bleeps a lotta things..those poor spiders on the wall and cobwebs in the hall..by the time he got to the candles I was hyperventilating.

    that was HILARIOUS!

    ::Sporfle:: My childhood!

  3. SarahLynn says:

Thanks for making me spit out the tea I was trying to drink…I’m with rebyj on the hyperventilating, except that I couldn’t breath after the first couple lines.  Hilarious!!

  4. RandomRanter says:

At this moment, it is so good that I don’t have kids, because I would be a really long time before I would be able to explain to them why I find this song so funny.  Oh, thanks.

  5. Vash says:

Oh. My. God. I remember this song… and it is now tarnished forever!

    BWAHAHAHAHAHA

  6. When I’m alone, I [BLEEP] myself!

Oh God, that’s terrible and brilliant at the same time.  Good Lord, I hurt from laughing!

  7. By the way, I work with a special-needs child who LOVES Sesame Street so I see it Every. Single. Day.  And now it will never be the same again.

  8. OMG – that was too funny!

Guess next thing we’ll see is the Count being banned as a bad influence on children. Sort of like Santa – apparently he’s been asked to “slim down” to set a better example for kids and also not to say “ho ho ho” because it could be offensive to women.

Get a grip people!!!! (And a sense of humor)

  9. That lasted a really long time, at nearly 2am, alone in my apartment.

Oh wait. Now I sound like him.

    Bleep.

The source of this little jewel would be one Neil Cicierega, the same fellow who brought the world the Potter Puppet Pals.

Ernie and Bert fanfic, now the bleeping count! What, oh, what, is in store for Big Bird?

I must send that video to my boys, in memory of our days together with Sesame Street.

  12. KCfla says:

    OMG!
I’m so glad my kids are past the age to watch that show. I would not be able to explain my uncontrollable laughter for this one!
    Bleep? *SNORT*

  13. It’s really a testament to how incredibly juvenile I am that this thing made me laugh as hard as I did.

  14. Joanna S. says:

Hey, I wonder if he also counts strokes as he [BLEEPS!] himself…No wonder he’s always laughing and is able to deal with his OCD so well!

(I say this knowing that I’m a bad, bad person who thinks of bad, bad things. But I am soooo not sorry!)

  15. What a timely day to see this video – because apparently Sesame Street already warped all of our minds, early on:

Oh, lord that was funny!  No wonder they say Sesame Street Old School is for adults only!
