Friday Videos are Good Natured and Provide Your Satisfaction

Here at Smart Bitch Headquarters, we want to be ever useful to you. So if your weekend plans include “Business Time,” (am I ever going to get tired of that song?) the Condom Teletubbies have a six minute song to remind you how awesome protection can be. Thanks to Darlene Marshall for the link.

Darlene’s comment: “Bollywood meets Trojan. It’s got a beat.  You can dance to it.  And it’s fairly worksafe.”

The best part: all these dudes staring at the dancing men with Very Serious Faces. Discussing world hunger? The plight of the homeless? No. Looking at a singing pink jimmy hat. Serious business for business time, yo.

Please note: Smart Bitches are not sealed with lubricant.

  1. Sarah Frantz says:

I adore the picture of Teh Gay Sexx0ring.  But you gotta work for it—it’s all the way at the end!

  2. Teddy Pig says:

It’s the opera length white gloves. They always bring a sense of class to any occasion.

  3. My God, that was oddly compelling. Yeah, I watched the whole thing with my five-year-old sitting here, because it was completely non-graphic… UNTIL THE GAY SEX DIAGRAM! Like Indian people have no idea that it goes in the what-what?!

Thankfully he was staring at the TV.

  4. Victoria Dahl says:

Teddy Pig! HAHAHAHAHAHA You kill me.

  5. Mel-O-Drama says:

VH1 presents: Behind the Music: Teletubbies, All Grown Up.

  6. I had to watch it again.  There’s a sweet innocence to it, even with the “What What in the Butt” graphic. I also appreciated it from a professional capacity, ‘cause I used to work in drug abuse prevention, and naturally we overlapped into safe sex discussions (if you don’t see the connection, write me).

The information presented in this video was accurate, comprehensive and done in a non-threatening manner that would have a positive impact on the viewer.  I’d give it a 5 out of 5.

  7. plainjane says:

Okay, I admit—I watched the whole thing too.  Yeah Teddy Pig, what was with those long white opera gloves?  Kinda creepy.  Mel-O-Drama, that was f’ing hilarious!!  How about those fantastically coordinated dancers in white.  Loved the three guys popping up in the background behind the others like little prairie dogs. (The one in the middle with the smile & little shoulder shrug—priceless!)

Best line: “For momentary sexual pleasure you go to great lengths.”  (snicker)

I really just wanted to read through the comments, but when I saw the spaminator word I knew I had to comment:

    covered99

As in, a covered willy will prevent pregnancy & std’s 99% of the time. 🙂 (It’s just a benefit that they come in different colors with fragrance…)

  8. iffygenia says:

Earlier on, there’s an image of two men almost kissing. I thought that was going to be “the” gay reference. But no!

  9. Gwen says:

For a country that nearly pilloried Richard Gere and the actress he kissed for an innocent kiss in public, showing that buttsecks graphic in a PSA seems a bit, well, odd.  Not that I didn’t enjoy it.  And not that there’s anything wrong with that.

  10. This was quite a charming little clip.  And the opera gloves certainly do add to that charm.  But what I really loved was that the condom dancers were differently textured. It took me awhile to notice but Mr. Blue had ribs for ‘her pleasure’ and Mr. Pink had little nubs.  😉

  11. Flo says:

That was kinda catchy… I mean my toes were a tappin’ and I was nodding along.  Granted I had my eyes closed in utter horror but the music… it MOVED me!

  12. Melissa Blue says:

I think they mistranslated Pu-ta-na-na and for a moment there I thought the dancers were going to doing a “doggy style” dance.

  13. Karen says:

Hey, those guys in white had some moves. Looked like a great aerobic exercise, really concentrating on the core. I’ll have to rewind those parts and practice. I’ll forego the lyrics, though. Catchy tune, but I iz langaj-challenjed.

  14. Carrie Lofty says:

Am I wrongheaded to look past the meaningful pro-condom message to criticize the troupe’s poorer dancers? I mean, really. Some of them weren’t even trying!

  15. DebR says:

Now that’s a ball! Ahem. And just think, each one of those guys will be able to add “played a singing, dancing condom in a PSA” to their resume. Sweet!

“Smart Bitches are not sealed with lubricant.”

But are you colorful and fragrant? 🙂

  16. Sandra D says:

The best part? Seeing the word rash on the screen just as the red lumpy one started his solo.

  17. TracyS says:

My 8 year old walked in and said “cool!! Dancing Popsicles!!” bwahahahahahahahahhahahahaha

  18. LOFLROTF

I swear I never write that, no really, but I was already a little giggly from the ‘What what…’ diagram….

Oh my god, Tracy, how hysterically funny is that!  Dancing Popsicles!

I love this website.  I really do.

  19. The big question is – what was going on behind the condom costume? White gloves, white face and????

That was sweet. And I too loved the added texture element 🙂

And aren’t you always going to think of this song the next time you sit down in an Indian restaurant and they have on authentic music?? Quite a catchy tune!

Jokes aside, it’s a great idea. India has a huge problem with all the consequences of unprotected sex.

  20. quichepup says:

I know what I’m going as for Halloween next year now.

living87—wear a condom and you might live to be 87

  21. JaniceG says:

I think my favorite part was when the lyrics were saying things like “You search for multiple sex partners” while the dancing condoms had these inane grins on their faces like they were saying something totally innocuous. I’m betting all the dancing guys are convinced that being a dancer in a video could be their big break into Bollywood :->

  22. Next time I got out, I’m totally using this as a pick-up line:  “I am good natured and provide satisfaction—I am quite delicate… turn a deaf ear to others, I am very good!”

    Laughing my ASS off here!!!

  23. Condoms wear long white gloves but no showes, apparently. That is hilarious.
