Thanks to Mel Francis we have this week’s Friday Video, which isn’t so much about romance novels but totally cracks me up. Guess which part? You’ll know it when you see it.

OMG Samuel L. Jackson as the burning bush! “I want you to f*cken acknowlege it!” HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA PRICELESS
Principle Firebush indeed.
Oh shit that was brillant! I’m still cracking up.
Since I sent this to you I have watched it way too many times to count.
That was so awesome. I love the music. Thanks for sharing!
The 1-2 punch of Sinead O’Connor and Samuel L. Jackson as Principal Firebush had embarrassing sounds coming from my nose.
ROTFLMAO!
Thank you for that. After (almost) surviving a week from h@ll at work- I totally needed that!
Now, where are the Kleenex?
Oh, that’s brilliant.
I had forgotten how beautiful Yul Brynner is too…
Yvonne,
Yul is beautiful…not quite as beautiful as Sinead O’Connor, but still…he can hold his own. LOL
I laughed so hard I almost peed. Thanks for a wonderful tension-reducing start to my morning.
What a perfect way to kick off the weekend!
And yes, Yul Brynner is (was) way hot.
Yul is beautiful-and principal firebush had me choking on my coffee LOL-hysterical! But we dont expect anything less from Mel 🙂
That. Was. Classic. Instantly classic. All the funnier for the awesome quality!!!
Thanks, Bitches!!!
Oh, so so funny! I love the music and Samuel L. Jackson as the burning bush!!!
That was awesome! I think I’ll be watching that one a few times today!
Well, if you go to iFilm and look up Trailer Remixes, you can get these guys other spoofs – i.e. “Jaws” as “Must Love Jaws” – a romantic nature movie a la Free Willie, “Citizen Kane: Da Remix” – reworking the classic into a pimp movie, and turning “Glengarry Glen Ross” into “Glen and Gary and Glen and Ross” – making it about 4 friends getting over Tourette’s.
The music they use for this trailer, though, is flat-out brilliant – it’s same pop clips they use for every teen film.
The best thing about this is it NEVER GETS OLD. I’ve seen it a million places and it *still* makes me snort in an undignified manner every time I watch it.
omg, what a great little friday video!! Reminds me of why I had that childhood crush on Yul Brynner. *sigh*
I love this one—a friend sent me a link to it several months ago. I put it on my iPod because it’s the perfect pick me up when I need a laugh.
That was freakin’ great! I watched it twice in a row, and when I noticed hubby giving me an odd look I gave him the URL. He laughed even louder than I did at “Principal Firebush”.
I’d gladly save that video on my hard drive if it were possible. I don’t care how much space it takes up, it’d be WORTH it. 🙂
