Interviews and Smart Responses

Marta Acosta asked to interview us, and really, blather on about ourselves? No problem!

So check out our smart responses. Somehow we have to randomly select a commenting person to receive free books. Man, that’s a heady responsibility.

As usual, Candy cracks me up: I think we combine filthy jokes with serious analysis better than most anyone else. Well played, Candy, well played.

And with the Smart Bitches, I could trust that a literary conversation would degenerate into comments about German cannibals (Candy)and people named Fanny (Sarah).

  2. Candy says:

HA! As far as encapsulations of the difference between Sarah’s writing vs. mine, I think that’s a pretty good ‘un: I’m the one who brings up cannibals and strippers, and Sarah makes erudite off-color puns.

  3. closetcrafter says:

When do the T-shirts come out?  I have to have the German cannibal one, because the daily world I roll in would so not be ready for the Dominican bitches one. I would just wear that one to bed.

  4. Kaz Augustin says:

If you like the parenthacks site, try Lifehacker.com I used to have a feed to them on my site until I ran out of room. They’re a bit prudish—someone used the word ‘fuck’ a few weeks ago and everyone collectively fainted—but I’ve picked up some cool tips from them.
