Katia forwarded me a link to today’s Achewood comic, which features a custom romance novel that seriously had me spitting coffee out of my mouth onto the screen.
I will never look at pepperoncini the same way again.

I loved “his nothing to write home about chest”
>SNORT!< Thank you!
Wonder what else that pepperoncini could have been?
My favorite part was the “she had to get back to her I don’t know, some crappy waitress job” and “the my pool house was their whole world.”
Also, if you hover your cursor over the comic, the alt tag (or whatever it’s called) gives you an extra line of the story’s text.
Achewood is pretty sweet. Here are a couple of my favorite strips:
Phillipe’s new shoes (no lie, I dreamt I had those shoes one time, and was running in them across the deck of a frigate in full sail).
On bold and unpredictable new talents
I LOVE those little tamales. You know, those raunchy little tamales. No, really.
Teddy Pig, I’m with you.
Nothing to write home about chest. That kills me.
As does “Molly, nice, not my type”
There was something very familiar about that story… I do things like that with Mad Libs.
